Responsibilities:

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain printing presses
• Review job specifications for proper press setup
• Perform setup tasks such as hanging plates, checking for imperfections, prepping blankets, and adjusting tension and register
• Make color corrections and press adjustments to meet quality standards
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain the press, including minor repairs and periodic maintenance
• Meet performance objectives

Requirements:

• Experience with printing presses is desired
• Strong mechanical aptitude for setup, adjustments, routine maintenance, and repairs
• Comprehensive knowledge of press operation techniques, procedures, materials, and safety requirements
• Ability to read job specifications and determine appropriate machine settings and materials
• Reliable attendance is essential
